Japanese Import Eel Fish Indonesia

Eel Fish is one kind of fish behavior in the international market, one of Japan, this fish thus have the potential to export commodities. Unagi or Eel fish is a favorite fish species of Japanese citizens.

In Indonesia, fish, eels are found in areas bordering the inland sea as the south coast of Java, Sumatra's west coast, east coast of Kalimantan, Sulawesi coast, coastal islands of Maluku and West Irian.

Eel fish that can live in fresh water and salt it turns out to be coveted Japanese fisheries entrepreneurs because it's a fairly well and can be poured into the bag yen. Take, for example, fish, eels marmorata species. To buy one kilogram only, you must provide the money at least USD 300,000.

However, there are also 5 other species of fish eels, one of which is sold for Rp 150,000 per kg, which is kind of bicolor. Seeds are found in the waters of Pelabuhan Ratu, West Java. Until now, humans can not fish spawning on the eels. The reason it requires spawning fish in the sea waters carried in after birth and became benur seed. Usually chicks eels would swim to the river mouth. At the mouth of the river that was a big fish to the spawning and then come back.

For the discharge of fish farming, the seed must be imported from nature. Some areas already have water distribution are Poso, Manado, especially the waters south of Java Palabuhan Empress, and waters in west Sumatra.

However, not all the seed region can be utilized because many fishermen who do not understand how to catch it. Fishermen who already have the ability to capture new seeds were fishing eels in Palabuhan Queen. This region has a trench and estuaries that flow into the sea.

The problems faced by fish farmers of this discharge is a matter of strict competitiveness with other producing countries. Countries that have developed these eels are fish culture is Vietnamese and Korean, as well as Japan itself.

There are indications that the eels are fish in Korea and Vietnam come from Indonesia. If the smuggling of seeds can be overcome, then the discharge of fish production in the domestic cultivation can be very reliable as added value for farmers within the country, including increasing foreign exchange.
